Our recommendation is to follow the how to change Facebook language in the app guide and change it to English. This option together with previous steps might enable the avatar for you. Read on. Written By. View this post on Instagram. The GPS helped a lot as did the general maps. The main map was excellent where our route was plotted out for us. Just loved the whole experience. Each day seemed to be better than the previous such a beautiful country of contrasts. Put plenty of photos on Facebook and so many of our friends did not realise how amazing and picturesque Iceland is. The day tours were excellent, particularly the ones from Hofn, Isafjordur and Akureyri.

We are really grateful to the guides on these tours for making them so interesting and special. This vacation was our honeymoon.

We had just got married in the states a few days prior to the start of our trip. We had the most incredible experience.

No Avatar Option On Facebook? Know Why You Are Unable To Create Your Avatar

Everything was just wonderful. Working with our travel agent, Maria, for months prior, could not have been a better experience.

She was so helpful, always quick to respond, answered all of my (many. My sister secretly reached out to her to choose a restaurant to treat us to dinner for the last night of our trip, and Maria's suggestion was perfect. I especially loved the folder we received upon arrival that included vouchers for each day. This was helpful to enter in the destination to the car's GPS to help us get around.

Not only did it suggest what to do each day, but it gave you a little history of each item. Since we were on our own most of the trip, these little blurbs of info gave me a nice bit of history, the perfect amount. The section at the end that provided helpful tips on traveling, money, tipping, weather, packing, etc. I could not have asked for a better experience at any stage of planning or the trip itself.

Sofia was very, very helpful.

This is our second tour with Nordic Visitor. Last year we went to Greenland was impressed with Nordic Visitor and booked another vacation. The location of hotels and quality of hotels was excellent. All hotels were close to train stations and also close to tourist activities. As this was our first time to Sweden, Denmark and Norway I did have questions and Sofia was very quick to answer them.

This is our type of vacation as we prefer self guided over group tours. They provided us with maps, a route as well as suggestions for sightseeing and activities. All of these were right on target. A real bonus was the use of a cell phone while on the trip which was vey reassuring. I highly reccomend this company. Maria - We can't tell you enough what a spectacular vacation we had in Iceland.

Your package was perfect. Everything worked beyond our wildest expectations. We loved the country, of course - what a beautiful place, and the people are fabulous.

Food was delicious and all accommodations were so comfortable and luxurious. All the materials you provided were amazing. The road atlas was a tremendous help and an appreciated gift as well. We hope someday to visit other nordic countries - Denmark and Norway especially.

We will certainly go to Nordic Visitor when we do. Thank you again for all the thoughtful planning that made this trip truly memorable. Everything was extremely well done, I though. Sigfus was very accomodating when it came to answering every question--he even answered my question when he was out of the office sick.

The entire self-drive course along the Ring Road was easy to follow. I mostly used the GPS, but the maps and atlas came in handy when trying to find locations the GPS did not recognize as well as letting me find other desinations of personal interest (like the gliderport just outside of Reykjavik). Nordic Visitor impressed us from the start with instant replies to Emails and the ability to call Nordic Visitor using a 1800 number from Australia, as I did once, was great.

I have to thank Helena for everything she did for us, including sorting the slight hiccup that occurred in our pickup from Oslo airport. The documentation presented to us was 1st class, maps, travel information, and we much appreciated the DVDs from Hurtigruten. We loved everywhere we travelled, Trondheim, cruising the Fjords, Bergin, perhaps Flam was a highlight, getting there, the accommodation, the included meal, the train ride.

As it turned out we did the train from Flam to Myrdal twice as the train to Oslo could not operate due to snow, so they sent us back to Flam and then a bus to Oslo.

Many thanks to Nordic Visitor and Helena, maybe Iceland is next. Your staff was very helpful setting up the trip with our special requests and making sure things were right while we were on the trip. Our primary purpose for the trip was to see and photograph the Northern Lights, which we were able to do 2 lovely nights in a row.

But the entire trip was great -- Iceland and its people are wonderful and we definitely want to return. We have traveled independently many times but with a short stay of one week decided that going through a travel company would help us make best use of our time- and the ability to do a 'facilitated' self guided tour was perfect for us.

We all agreed it was the best short break holiday we have ever had THANK YOU!. The information package was so good that a meeting with my travel agent was not required. The map was so detailed we rarely needed anything else. All sites were thoughtfully laid out and were excellent. The package could not have been better. Hotels were all excellent and meals they provided were well above expectations.

We had a wonderful experience. Alexandra was such a pleasure to work with and helped us book a wonderful stay. We loved the welcome package--the map was so helpful with all of the highlighting of where we'd be staying, what route we'd take, and the sites we could see along the way. We used that map in conjunction with the book we received, the itinerary and just one book that we brought along with us.

We were able to see so many wonderful and beautiful things (things which weren't even on the itinerary--but that we just happened to pass by). We stopped by a town called Olafsvik for lunch one day and absolutely fell in love with its charm.
